Good morning YIPC!
*Mazal Tov in the YIPC Family!*
Mazal Tov to Nomi Mermelstein and Josh Polevoy upon their marriage yesterday! Mazal Tov to Adina & Shlomo Mermelstein, siblings Shoshana and Moshe, and honored grandparents Rabbi Chaim & Leah Wasserman and Mrs. Dora Mermelstein. May the new couple be Zoche to build a Bayis Ne’eman B’Yisroel, and may we continue to share in many Simchos together!
*Highlight of the Day: Pesach Cleaning Shiur with Rabbi Glasser*
Many of us are making Pesach for the first time, and others are deeply overwhelmed by the prospect of preparing the home under challenging circumstances. Rabbi Glasser will be giving a shiur tonight (03/23) at 8:30 PM regarding the Halachos of preparing for Pesach – with particular focus on some of the unique issues that we may be facing this year. Join online: https://zoom.us/j/776157615 or call: 929.436.2866. Meeting ID: 776- 157-615
*Rabbinic Counseling*
The following message is from Rabbi Glasser:
I am making myself available for those YIPC members who wish to meet regarding issues they may be confronting (including non-corona issues) that require more substantial time (including couples). Please do not hesitate to use this time to address other issues that may require attention beyond COVID-19, as I have set aside this time to do so. Unfortunately, in order to balance everyone’s needs – these meetings will need to be more condensed than they have been in the past. For now – the meetings are for 20-minute increments. Should you require more time, we will work something out together. _
The following time slots have been set aside:
Tuesday – 2:00 PM- 3:00PM
Wednesday - 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM,
Thursday – 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM
To reserve a slot – Please email mwechsle@yu.edu and Marilyn (my assistant at YU) will provide you with a zoom link for the meeting. If you prefer to not meet through zoom – she can book that time slot as a phone call as well. These meetings slots are available for teens and collegiates as well. For general halachic and guidance questions, please continue to call me directly.
